How We Collect Information

We collect information directly from you or an authorized parent, guardian, team, or organization administrator; automatically when you use the Services; from other users who tag, invite, or communicate with you; from connected services you authorize; and from vendors that help us operate, secure, measure, advertise, or process transactions for the Services.

How We Use Information

We may use personal information to:

  • Create, authenticate, and maintain accounts and profiles.
  • Display content according to profile, module, and post visibility settings.
  • Operate follows, messaging, notifications, Stories, media, events, schedules, rosters, statistics, Watch, and live-streaming features.
  • Process registrations, subscriptions, advertising, creator monetization, and payouts when those features are available.
  • Provide support and respond to privacy, safety, legal, and copyright requests.
  • Detect spam, fraud, abuse, security incidents, policy violations, and unauthorized access.
  • Moderate content and enforce our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
  • Personalize and improve features, recommendations, accessibility, and performance.
  • Measure usage, advertising performance, and the reliability of the Services.
  • Comply with law, protect rights and safety, and establish or defend legal claims.

Public Profiles and Content

Public profiles, posts, statistics, schedules, events, media, livestreams, comments, and other public content may be viewed, copied, indexed, or shared by other people and search engines. Private or restricted content is visible only to the audiences allowed by the applicable settings and product rules.

Do not publish sensitive information that you do not want others to see. Profile owners, parents, guardians, teams, and organizations are responsible for reviewing visibility settings and having permission to publish information about other people.

How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information in these circumstances:

  • At your direction: to audiences you select, people you message, accounts you tag, or connected services you authorize.
  • To service providers: vendors that provide hosting, storage, content delivery, security, communications, analytics, moderation, customer support, advertising, payment, and identity-verification services.
  • To integrations: providers such as YouTube when you connect an account, schedule a broadcast, deliver a stream, or display supported third-party content.
  • For safety and legal reasons: when reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process; investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues; enforce our agreements; or protect users, MaxSportsure, or the public.
  • For a business transaction: in connection with financing, due diligence, restructuring, merger, acquisition, sale, or transfer of all or part of the business, subject to appropriate protections.
  • With consent: when you authorize another disclosure.

We may use or disclose aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be linked to an individual, and we do not attempt to reidentify information maintained as deidentified.

Advertising, Analytics, and Cookies

MaxSportsure and its providers may use cookies, pixels, local storage, device identifiers, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, secure the Services, measure performance, understand usage, and support advertising on eligible pages.

When enabled on eligible public pages, Google AdSense and other advertising partners may process identifiers and activity data to deliver, measure, limit, and protect ads. Advertising is restricted on certain private, messaging, notification, account, safety, payment, and administrative areas. You can manage available consent choices through our consent interface and browser settings. Blocking required cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working.

Sale and Sharing of Personal Information

MaxSportsure does not sell personal information for money. Some advertising or analytics disclosures may be treated as a “sale,” “sharing,” or targeted advertising under certain state privacy laws even when no money changes hands. Where those laws apply, you may request to opt out by using an available privacy or cookie control or by emailing support@maxsportsure.com with the subject “Privacy Opt-Out.”

We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 without the affirmative authorization required by applicable law.

Your Choices and Controls

  • Update account and profile information through available settings.
  • Choose available profile, module, post, messaging, and notification settings.
  • Disconnect supported third-party integrations.
  • Unsubscribe from non-essential email using the link in the message, while continuing to receive necessary account or safety notices.
  • Request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of information by using available account tools or contacting us.
  • Request account deletion through account settings or by emailing support. Some information may be retained where permitted or required by law.

California Privacy Rights

If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to MaxSportsure’s processing of your information, you may have the right to:

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you, the sources, purposes, and categories of recipients.
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
  • Limit certain uses and disclosures of sensitive personal information where the right applies.
  • Receive equal service and not be discriminated against for exercising privacy rights.

To submit a request, email support@maxsportsure.com with the subject “California Privacy Request.” Describe the right you want to exercise and the account or email address involved. We may verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where allowed by law, but we may require proof of authorization and identity verification.

Browser “Do Not Track” signals are not standardized, so the Services may not respond to them. Where required by applicable law, MaxSportsure will process legally recognized opt-out preference signals for the browser or device that sends the signal.

Children and Teen Users

MaxSportsure is a sports community for users age 13 and older. A child under 13 may not create or operate an independent account. A parent or legal guardian must use an eligible parent or guardian account and any supported child-profile tools.

Parents and guardians may contact us to review, correct, or request deletion of a child’s personal information and to stop further collection where applicable. We may request information reasonably necessary to verify identity, guardianship, and authority. Teen accounts and content may receive additional visibility, communication, safety, advertising, and monetization protections.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including providing the Services, maintaining account and transaction records, protecting safety and security, resolving disputes, enforcing agreements, and meeting legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type, sensitivity, account status, and legal requirements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or deidentify it.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur. Protect your password, use a unique credential, and notify us if you believe your account has been compromised.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the Services, business practices, or laws change. We will post the updated policy and revise the “Last updated” date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required.
